Justinas Miknevicius

Justinas has been part of the Reece Thomas Watson team since 2017, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2020.  He specialises in Prison Law and Criminal Appeals, particularly representing clients in Parole Board hearings, including lifers, IPP prisoners, and those recalled to prison. Justinas is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his clients, known for his hard work, enthusiasm, and approachable nature. He goes above and beyond in his efforts to secure the right result, driven by a passion for justice and a deep commitment to ensuring his clients receive fair treatment.

Justinas has secured notable successes, including securing the release of IPP prisoners and lifers directly from closed conditions. He is particularly passionate about advocating for IPP prisoners still caught in the system, believing strongly in fairness and the importance of not judging individuals based on their past.

His background in mental health law has further enhanced his ability to support clients with diverse needs. His friendly and understanding demeanor helps him connect with clients from all walks of life.
